Job Description - BC/BE orthopedic surgeon opportunity in a full-time role at a hospital-owned orthopedic practice near a community hospital - General orthopedics with a strong focus on sports medicine - Schedule includes: - Clinic: Monday and Wednesday, 8 a.m."5 p.m. - OR: Tuesday and Thursday - Fridays alternating between clinic (8 a.m."12 p.m.) and OR - Overall clinic hours: Monday"Thursday 8 a.m."5 p.m.; Friday 8 a.m."12 p.m. - Call schedule: approximately 1:4 shared rotation - Typical clinic volume 20"30 patients per day - Dedicated orthopedic PA in clinic Monday"Friday, plus support from two medical assistants, a radiology technologist, and an in-house diagnostic scheduler - Facilities include 9 exam rooms, 1 procedure room, in-house diagnostics, and X-ray - Access to a hospital-owned outpatient diagnostics center with advanced imaging - On-site rehabilitation center providing comprehensive physical therapy services - Competitive base salary with sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and potential loan repayment - Comprehensive benefits package with PTO, CME allowance, malpractice coverage with tail, 401(k) with match, medical, dental, vision insurance, and disability and life coverage - Direct contract negotiation with executive leadership and support from strong hospital leadership and an experienced surgery team - Independent, community-based hospital with broad specialty services and access to advanced imaging and rehab on campus - Open to both recent graduates and experienced orthopedic surgeons (no J-1 or H-1 visa sponsorship) - Located in a small community on the coastal plains, offering small-town charm, access to nature, and convenient proximity to regional amenities
