Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy
department within one of our dynamic retail locations. This
opportunity allows you to blend your pharmaceutical expertise with
your leadership skills to ensure the delivery of efficient, safe,
and compassionate care to our customers. Manage the daily
operations of the pharmacy department, ensuring compliance with
applicable laws and regulations. Lead and supervise a team of
pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, fostering a supportive and
efficient working environment. Evaluate prescription orders and
provide drug dispensation and information to customers securely and
respectfully. Manage pharmacy inventory effectively, ensuring stock
levels are maintained and expired or outdated medications are
managed according to company policy. Implement health and wellness
programs that align with community needs and Walmart’s healthcare
mission. Ensure high standards of customer service and patient care
in every interaction. Handle and resolve customer issues or
complaints regarding pharmacy services. Maintain records of all
pharmacy operations to ensure compliance with policies and
regulations. Provide counsel on medications to healthcare providers
and patients, ensuring a safe and effective medication regimen.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a
team. Knowledge of pharmaceutical and healthcare industry practices
and regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
capable of conveying information to healthcare professionals and
patients alike. Analytical and problem-solving abilities,
particularly related to drug interactions and pharmacy management.
Proficiency in utilizing pharmacy information systems. Medical

Current pharmacist licensure in the state of employment.
