Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU). The unit trains our nurses for the
EMU part and it does not typically affect our travelers unless we

neuroscience unit. Care for any neuroscience diagnosis. Strokes are
the primary patient population seizures, subdural hematomas, SAH,
ICH, brain tumors. Manager will not accept less than 1 year of past
Med Surg experience due to ratios on unit Special Procedures/Unit
Details : We have a 4 BED Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) that is
considered Intermediate level and that nurse has 4:1 patient ratio.
Hard stop-Manager will not accept less than 1 year of past Med Surg
experience- must be MS and not MS/tele in work history (I know it's
a Ms/tele but must have specific MS in work history, per manager
due to ratios on unit Must have total of 2 yrs hard stop- combo of
1 yr MS and 1 yr MS/tele, tele or PCU Special Equipment :
Neurosurgical patients, seizures, subdural hematomas, SAH, ICH,
brain tumors, etc. Med Surg Experience RequiredWe did increase our
beds to 60, we added additional 12 med surge beds and a 5 bed
transfer center. Please update our beds to state 55 since the
transfer center is ran a little different Our census runs around 50
Tier2 Crisis Response Compliance Candidate must go into the lab
within 48 hours after signing. All testing must be completed within
48 hours. Submission Process : All units are utilizing Clinical for
direct profile review Submission Details : Any previous PERM / PRN
/ EP staff employee of Novant Health or New Hanover must wait 12
months before applying as a traveler. Please note in the submission
packet if your candidate previously worked here, the hospital name

cannot proceed with any offer until rehire approval is obtained.
Failure to disclose this information will negatively impact your
