Job Description:

Located in Raleigh, NC Piper Companies is seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative to join our team! Currently, we are looking for someone to work with current and prospective customers to identify sales opportunities in an assigned territory. Responsibilities for the Sales Development Representative include:

• Learn and understand our sales process and core products
• Identify decision makers within targeted leads and set up software demos with our sales engineer
• Support your Sales Engineer by staying on top of crucial sales activities including cold calling, booking meetings, and prospecting
• Present and sell our software as a service (SaaS) product to current and prospective clients Qualifications for the Sales Development Representative include:
  • 1+ years of experience working in a sales environment
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to learn technology
  • Exceptional phone skills and ability to handle inbound and outbound sales calls
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team-oriented environment. Compensation for the Sales Development Representative include:
    • Base Salary: $40,000 - $45,000 + commission (average: $15,000 - $20,000)
