Each unit shares a common goal: Deliver quality and efficient services with dedicated financial support for the student activity and scholarships. Our facilities are maintained at a level to reflect and enhance this mission. Essential Job Duties This position's overall function is utilizing a standard cleaning assignment to clean and sanitize areas of assignment. This position requires a high degree of flexibility to respond to and coordinate with the needs of clients, occupants, and requests. Communication with the team, others and supervisor is critical for success. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: --- Use standard housekeeping equipment, tools and supplies to accomplish basic cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, dusting, disinfecting, and replenishing to complete assigned responsibilities and job tasks. --- Responsible for reporting discrepancies found within the building in addition to responding to emergencies and inclement weather. --- Complete assigned projects --- Inventory of assigned area --- Move and reset furniture --- Perform proper routine maintenance on all equipment. 2 positions are available Work shifts are 7:30 PM - 4:00 AM One position works Thursday through Monday (off Tuesday and Wednesday) and the other works Friday through Tuesday (off Wednesday and Thursday). Hours are subject to change based on business needs. Other Work/Responsibilities During adverse weather conditions, this position may be required to participate in snow/ice removal under the direction of a supervisor. Minimum Experience/Education Some knowledge of cleaning procedures, ability to follow instructions and to perform medium to heavy physical work; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Special certification may be required for some of these positions.
