Mon-Fri 7:30am-6:00pm and Saturday 8am - 1pmVeterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician Responsibilities:Provide general animal practice wellness and critical care skills to patients.Provide care to hospitalized animals.Conduct lab diagnostics as necessaryTake radiographs and assist with imaging procedures.Place IV catheters and monitor fluid therapy.Provide client education and animal care skills.Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician Requirements:Good technical skills with the ability to work independently or as a team member.Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong work ethic and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with EzyVet software is a plus.Previous experience working with animals preferred.Wake Veterinary Medical Center is an equal-opportunity employer and values diversity at our company.
