Job DescriptionCVS / Aetna is seeking a Big Data Infrastructure Engineer to join a knowledgeable, highly-skilled and motivated team responsible for the delivery, support and maintenance of the CVS / Aetna Big Data Platform. The ideal candidate would have a deep knowledge of Big Data technologies and would be able to hit the ground running. This individual would need to understand the differences between Hadoop 3 and Hadoop 2 and understand the different distributions of Hadoop that are on the market (HDP/CDP/CDH). They will also need a working knowledge of the cloud and the Big Data technology they offer.Required Qualifications5+ years of experience with administration of Hadoop (Hive (Tez), Spark, HDFS, HBase)3+ years of experience in a 247 high-availability production environment3+ years of experience building and managing distributed systems.2+ years of experience with the following languages (Python, Java, Scala, BASH)COVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
