We're looking for a Business Systems Analyst in Raleigh, NC to join us in fulfilling our mission, while utilizing our values of excellence, improvement, and connection. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering requirements for building or changing IT Back Office applications and webservices using Salesforce, Angular, Java, webMethods, VB6 and .Net on projects ranging in size from medium to very large. You'll collaborate directly with both internal and external stakeholders and will be responsible for fully understanding requests, facilitating QA and user-acceptance testing, and ensuring successful deployments. The Business Systems Analyst will report to our Application Development Manager.

      • Drive enhancements and solutions in strategic IT products.
      • Understand critical business and functional requirements, Enact technology stack, and internal and external customer needs.
      • Research, diagnose, and identify fixes for issues in the application environment.
      • Elicit, understand, and translate functional system requirements into detailed technical specification documents.
      • Conduct all required unit testing and assist with QA and UAT cycles for all changes.
      • Analyze and understand business problems/opportunities, identifying probable root causes, and proposing possible solutions that balance cost with business benefits.
      • Operate comfortably using both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
      • Occasionally travel to attend relevant industry conferences. YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
        • Bachelor's degree in business or information systems, or equivalent work experience.
        • Agile and Waterfall project methodology knowledge and experience.
        • A demonstrated track record of maintaining and improving individual as well as team job skills through training, self-research, and self-study.
        • Self-directed, with demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize and execute executive strategies.
        • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
        • Strong analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities. Preferred
          • Prior experience working with mortgage systems applications.
          • Prior experience working with or knowledge of Salesforce.
          • Experience with Behavior Driven Development concepts.
