Job Description:

A fast growing multifamily construction developer is seeing an Assistant Project Manager to join their team. This role responsible for working to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role will be based in Raleigh, North Carolina and assists with management of all aspects of the project including planning, scheduling, and cost control.

Responsibilities:

• Assists in the planning and implementation of projects by coordinating and managing project deliverables and tasks
• Conducts administrative tasks to include drafting invoices and drawing estimates
• Prepare and maintain project logs recording the processing of such within the project management software reporting systems
• Work with Project Engineers and Superintendents to help resolve any constructibility issues.
• Assist and track all permits required
• Assist in bidding and buy-out of materials, services and scopes of work on assigned projects.
• Acts as liaison to project stakeholders and addresses concerns, project details, and deliverables Requirements:
  • 3+ years experience in project management
  • 3-5 years experience with wood frame, garden-style multifamily construction
  • Degree in Architecture, Building Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or other related discipline
  • 4 years experience using Procore
  • Understanding of construction management processes
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities, including negotiation skills Compensation:
    • $80,000 - $120,000 depending on abilities and experience. Exact compensation may vary and has potential to increase depending on client.
