Job Description Description: The Applications Support Analyst has
the responsibility to own and support multiple applications within
the Bank, applying system analysis techniques and procedures to
determine hardware, software and system functional specifications
while providing friendly, prompt, and accurate service to both
internal and external customers. Interfaces with management and
employees at all levels throughout the Bank. ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONSProfessionally serve as the administrator and owner of
assigned applications.Serve as the bank expert on assigned
applications - will work with vendor, business unit management and
other identified stakeholders within the bank to ensure product is
meeting business needs. Responsible for assisting business unit
owner(s) with the delivery of training and documentation on all
business applications.Will be responsible for ensuring application
is aligned with the bank's strategic goals and will make
recommendations to senior management on application improvements or
upgrades.Troubleshoot network, workstation, printer or related
software problems related to the assigned applications. Log,
monitor and track reported issues and resolutions via the service
desk application and change management. Serve as primary contact
with vendors and infrastructure/network engineers to resolve issues
in a timely manner. Conduct user reviews to ensure appropriate
privileges are applied to end users.Communicate effectively with
end-users on progress of applications. Ensure satisfaction with the
quality and timeliness of work done.Provide support and/or work
with vendors who need or require access to application
environments.Manage application software and system software,
coordinating with the appropriate team members.Ensures successful
transition of application testing into production mode.Participate
in projects/initiatives as led by Project Management Office.Achieve
and maintain knowledge of service desk standards / procedures and
service desk application, including change management.Actively
participates and contributes to Disaster Recovery/Business
Continuity initiatives.Maintains and updates application processes
and procedures.Maintains a thorough knowledge of all American
National Bank products, services, procedures, policies and
appropriate regulatory issues relating to daily job functions
including but not limited to: Bank Secrecy Act; Privacy; Fair
Lending; Regulation E; deposit, transaction and loan accounts. Must
be able to travel to the various banking offices and thus have a
valid driver's license.Requirements:Excellent diagnostic skills are
essential.Good analytical and problem-solving skills required with
attention to detail.Sound organizational skills and recognizes and
changes work priorities in a timely fashion.Good interpersonal
skills and communication skills.Must possess spirit of
collaboration with other team members and staff.Flexible work
schedule as issues arise or implementations required. EDUCATION AND
EXPERIENCEAt least 2 years of experience in a systems analyst or
software system administrator role preferred. Associates or
bachelor's degree preferred or experience in lieu of degree.
Banking experience a plus. Thorough working knowledge of all
security and compliance procedures. Advanced computer skills
troubleshooting software or systems issues required.Experience
managing users, either via Active Directory or application user
management.Experience analyzing and preparing business cases for
