We have the perfect role for you! Apply now!General SummaryThe Maintenance Associate will support the operation of production equipment used in the daily manufacturing of medical devices. Primary responsibilities include the performance of preventive maintenance activities in accordance with company standards, assisting in machine change-overs, maintaining inventory of spare parts, supporting relocation/installation of equipment and post repair process verifications.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesDaily support of critical equipment used to manufacture medical devices.Support equipment change-overs with manufacturing team.Troubleshoot and repair equipment that is not performing to company standards.Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) and repair of production equipment in accordance with company and OEM specifications, OSHA and cGMP requirements. Must complete all associated and applicable paperwork.Maintain organization, cleanliness and safety of assigned areas of responsibility.Maintain adequate spare parts to perform PMs on assigned equipment.Complete all necessary operational training on equipment.Perform basic repairs upkeep of facility.Perform any additional duties as assigned by Management.Flexibility in work schedule with ability to work overtime as necessary.Required SkillsReading, writing and relevant Math skills required.Ability to use Office, Word, Excel and other spreadsheets.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to walk, kneel, stand frequently or for long periods.Ability to climb and work from ladders.Must be a team player.Basic knowledge of common tools and proper usage.EducationHigh School diploma or GED requiredPreferred QualificationsEntry level to 5 years' experience with mechanical, electrical or pneumatic systems.Experience maintaining and troubleshooting various forms of production equipment.Medical or pharmaceutical manufacturing experience.Basic experience in skilled trades. (Carpentry, plumbing, etc.)Environment and Working Conditions:Tools are provided for this position and work is generally performed indoors in a plant or office environment (but may require outside work as well) and requires specific physical requirements that must be met, including:Some heavy lifting and considerable moving of equipment (regularly lifting up to 25 pounds)Standing for long periods of time.Sitting as needed.Climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.Exposure to a combination of normal office type environments, along with activities in the plant.Regularly exposed to dust, odors, non-hazardous chemicals, fumes and noise.Vision - both close and distant vision skills necessary.Ability to use hands and fingers; reach with arms; feel parts and other items as needed for the position.Ability to work in adverse weather conditions as necessary for emergencies.For more information, you can call or text 919-556-1201.Walk-ins are always welcome!Qualified Staffing934 Durham Rd., Ste EWake Forest, NC 27587Why work for Qualified Staffing?We offer a fantastic benefits packet to all of our employees.
