**About the job**Identify, define, and document business
processes and software requirements to be developed as software.
Serve as a bridge between the development team and our business
stakeholders by facilitating communication and determining software
objectives that align with stated and unstated business needs. The
Red Hat IT Enterprise Applications Integration team (EAI) is
looking for a Senior Business Analyst focused on assisting our
development team in building integrations and middleware solutions
for stakeholders across Red Hat to join us in Raleigh, NC or
remotely. In this role, you will work with our business partners to
elicit requirements in the form of business needs translated to
integration and middleware solutions, documenting system and data
integration processes, create data mapping documents, assist
engineers with technical documentation, and represent the team in
functional design discussions.As a senior-level contributor, you
will inspire the outcomes of process and solutions development,
serve as a representative of the EAI team to partners and
stakeholders, and provide leadership and guidance to project,
scrum, and development teams as needed. As a Senior Business
Analyst, you will participate in and contribute to roadmapping and
planning discussions by providing analysis and feedback on the
feasibility and scheduling of initiatives to decision makers.
Successful applicants do not have to be located in Raleigh, NC, but
must keep a compatible working schedule.**What you will do**+
Obtain a deep understanding of relevant business areas to be able
to recommend solutions and build high-quality requirements+ Use a
variety of techniques to understand business requirements like
interviews, workshops, surveys, process flows, and storyboards+
Understand technical options, limitations, and risks+ Communicate
tradeoffs to business and IT stakeholders and work with them to
shape requirements accordingly+ Translate conceptual user
requirements into clear, detailed functional requirements+ Work
with business and delivery teams to prioritize requirements+ Help
resolve competing priorities between stakeholder groups by
facilitating stakeholder discussions, and escalate issues where
appropriate+ Manage requirements scoping throughout the delivery
process+ Create artifacts as appropriate, including user-stories,
scope documentation, solution overviews, and process flows+ Support
delivery teams as they develop, test, and deploy solutions+ Review
delivery team output to ensure that requirements are correctly
interpreted; work with partner teams to define and execute test
cases+ Document current processes and models to understand
inefficiencies or gaps+ Identify and assist in prioritizing
opportunities to streamline business processes+ Promote a
collaborative team environment and provide mentorship to
junior-level team members+ Participate in agile teams, assisting to
lead when necessary, embodying a flexible mindset that is not
beholden to any single agile delivery model+ Consistently display

and partnership**What you will bring**+ Experience determining the
explicit and implicit needs and requirements of various
stakeholders+ Bachelor's degree in a related field+ Ability to
quickly learn the objectives, structures, operations, and policies
of new business areas+ Strong problem resolution, negotiation, and
influencing skills+ Demonstrated ability to engage both developers
and business partners to achieve target outcomes+ Proven
interpersonal skills and an ability to influence senior leaders and
peers+ Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical
information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally
and in writing+ Experience creating documentation such as process
flows, business requirements summaries, or user-stories+
Adaptability and a willingness to learn new skills+ Experience with
agile development methodologies and agile planning tools like
JiraThe following are considered a plus:+ Certified Business
Analysis Professional--- (CBAP -) or related professional
credentials+ Prior experience working on or with middleware teams+
Experience with one or more major enterprise applications like
Salesforce.com (SFDC), Oracle e-Business Suite, etc.+ Expertise
with visual development and dashboarding software like Miro or
