Experienced in all aspects of commercial, residential, and industrial architecture that are modern in design, elegant, practical, and visually appealing. -Our Ideal Candidate:The Ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail and deadline oriented. While working within a team environment and serving as a coach and or mentor to other associates to expand their knowledge and experience within the field while seeing projects through to completion. The successful candidate will also have the ability to execute and lead all phases of design including planning, feasibility, scope and concept development, construction documentation and construction administration. -The Architect with Project Management Emphasis, is expected to:Develop new and creative design concepts and see them through to completionDocument and record existing conditionsproduce construction documents in AutoCADAdvice clients, coordinate with consultants and manage other staff members/associatesSolid working knowledge of building codesAdvanced knowledge in developing high end residential, commercial, and industrial detailingStrong command of project management; including developing and maintaining project budgets and schedulesSecondary Duties:Work with clients to determine requirements for building projectDeveloping initial estimates on structure cost, building time and special requirementsDirecting staff in the development of project drawings, studies, and budgetsPreparing work contracts for building subcontractorsVisiting building worksites to ensure work is being done according to architectural plansDeveloping and giving presentations to inform the public about upcoming public building projects as they may develop.Requirements:Batchelor Degree in Architecture10 plus years' experienceAutoCAD V2018 or laterSketchUp V2018 or laterMicrosoft OfficePhotoShop CS5 or laterLumion preferred but not requiredRevit preferred but not requiredRegistered with the North Carolina Board of Architecture or have the ability to be registered within 30 days of employment.Scheduled Work Hours:Monday through Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. -
