Do you like getting into the system yourself to make changes directly?We need you to help us build an internal Salesforce Center of excellence!Our IT Global Salesforce Business Consultant engages directly with business leaders to understand their Salesforce needs and turns them in to reality. They translate business needs to technical requirements and owns delivery of global Salesforce initiatives from beginning to end. The right candidate:

  • engages the business to understand needs
  • drives requirements into reality
  • rolls out enhancements, modifications and integrations.
  • partners well with 3rd party implementation consultants and other internal business partners.Daily Responsibilities:
    • Hands on technical Salesforce configurations
    • Drives global long term Salesforce initiatives
    • Provides system change recommendationsThis is a key position that is involved as a point person for Salesforce projects and initiatives supporting our commercial business. They must fully understand the capabilities and functionality of Salesforce and be able to oversee and deliver all changes throughout the process from understanding requirements, relaying them to others, and watching for mistakes until all is live.A Salesforce Consultant who has a prior background as a Salesforce Lead, Salesforce SME or a Senior Salesforce Administrator would do well in this role. Our work mix is approximately 80% sales cloud, 10% service cloud, 10% marketing cloud. There will be integrations, single sign on, validation and testing with multiple systems including SAP.Our IT Global Business Consultant is responsible for the delivery of Salesforce solutions in the areas of Sales, Marketing and Customer solutions teams supporting all aspects of the commercial organization, this role is global, with support of the America's primarily and working globally in support of our affiliates.This individual will leverage their expertise and experience as well as industry best practices to successfully
      implement and support solutions to support commercial processes with focus on salesforce-based applications including OCE CRM, ServiceCloud, CloudCraze, Experience Cloud, etc. as well as integration points with other downstream applications like SAP.Business Relationship
      • In collaboration with the Commercial Business Process Manager, the Global Business Consultant Commercial Applications will develop and maintain business relationships with functional area subject matter experts to ensure system and process needs are being addressed and maintained.Functional / Technical expertise
        • Experience in designing software solutions on the Salesforce.com and Veeva platforms with hands on configuration experience. Ability to lead business design sessions and communicate design options to business leaders and other key stakeholders at different levels within the organization.Documentation and Testing
          • Create process, system, and data maps for applications. Work with users to gather and document requirements for new and existing applications. Write Functional Specifications for the development teams. Perform testing and coordinate testing with end users.Support
            • Support key users and trouble shoot issues to resolve in a timely mannerDesign and ConfigurationDesign and/or implement state-of-the-art, efficient and cost-effective solutions that can be reused by other global or local business area. Provide training and develop training materials for key users.Manage process of selecting new solutions, RFP's, vendor demos and evaluations and final selection along with Implementation and support of the new solution.Project Management and Change Control
              • Prepare project plans and schedules for system/application deployments, upgrades, and or fixes by following Merz SDLC. Manage change control process and release management cycle for applications3rd Party management
                • Coordinate activities with our third party support organization to ensure adherence to expected service levelsTraining
