***Local Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill/etc. area candidates only***The hiring manager said:The candidate needs recall on key SAP FI concepts.: I want some exposure to SAP configuration like junior--level--or at least someone who has--done specs to give to IT team. Some super-users have at least that beginning knowledge (depending on team setup in their companies).A candidate would made my cut if they had configuration experience with the systems they were using inhouse (ie Oracle Financials).Other ERP system financial setup experience would work.I don't need a full time experienced FICO person, because that person is going to get in our environment and if married to doing SAP configuration/changes then they won't be happy long-term. I just don't have that regular enough to support role.We need business analyst (BA) types who are problem- solvers--and can contribute to configuration solutions the few times the need arises to shorten the cycle of getting the work done.---------------------------------------------------------------------------While the company currently uses SAP, SAP experience is not necessary. The company will be leaving SAP in the future. If you are tied to SAP, then this won't be the right fit for you. The purpose of this job includes business requirements analysis, developing functional specifications, designing and configuring SAP or other ERP and non-ERP based enhancements performing and/or leading system testing, developing and maintaining system documentation, developing and delivering training, and providing ongoing operational support.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS--- Provides 2ndlevel support/problem analysis and resolution of ERP and non-ERP applications.--- Designs, configures, documents, tests, trains, and implements process enhancements for ERP and non-ERP applications.--- Maintains proficiency in ERP and non-ERP applications and develops business process knowledge.--- Support Lead for project management and coordination. --- Other duties as assigned--- Other duties as assigned. --- Performs project management.Remote until the end of Covid-19. Seeking a business analyst with a financial slant...Requirements:Minimum Requirements:*A Bachelor's Degree in Business/IT/Computer Science or related field is required.*Three (3) years of previous experience supporting ERP business applications. A Master's Degree can be a substitute for two (2) years of previous work experience.*Must have strong customer service skills.*Previous SAP or ERP Finance experience within the consumer products industry is preferred.*Business mapping and blueprinting experience implementing SAP Finance and Controlling.*Knowledge of process analysis and design required.*An understanding of inbound/outbound interfaces between SAP and other systems based on files/IDocs is preferred. EDI experience a plus.*Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.*Excellent analytical and problem solving skills is required.*Project management experience is preferred.Must have ability of documenting functional specifications.*Must be a self-starter and an independent analytical thinker with a high attention to detail.*Must have successful previous experience prioritizing multiple tasks, managing tasks and adapting to an ever changing environment.*Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks in a dynamic and fast paced environment. Constantly (90%) required to sit. Occasionally (10%) required to walk and stand. *Must be able to speak, read, and write English proficiently.
