THE GIG:Blue Moon Estate Sales is currently looking for a Franchise Business Consultant (FBC). This individual will help drive franchise growth throughout the United States. The (FBC) will oversee an assigned territory of franchise locations and will serve as the corporate liaison to franchise owners and our corporate office located in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will have home operations experience, an entrepreneurial management approach and a proven track record of getting results. The primary responsibility of the FBC is to consult and coach Blue Moon's franchisees in driving revenue growth, conducting business analysis, marketing, recruitment and adherence to Best Practices so that "brand" integrity remains consistent throughout the franchise system. Blue Moon Estate Sales is seeking candidates who reside in the Greater Triangle area and have the ability to travel up to 35% of the time. Blue Moon shortens the learning curve for its franchisees with our branded product, operational standardization, personal support, and intensive training program. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Engage with and influence franchise owners
  • Ensure each franchise owner is in compliance with their Franchise Agreement
  • Cultivate and grow the Blue Moon system by supporting franchise owners to increase the number of placements and profitability; help franchisees set targets and achieve their goals
  • Formulate, interpret and implement Blue Moon policies and operating practices as it relates to providing consultation or expert advice to franchisees
  • Assess franchise operations and propose changes as it relates to the franchises' business processes
  • Work closely with Senior Management on business development, best practice implementation and programs and initiatives
  • Consult and coach franchise owners with their marketing efforts, operational processes, financial analysis, and education on changes in the resale industry
  • Document daily communication reports
  • Manage and document your travel and time in the field
  • Conduct franchise field visits, traveling up to 35%
  • Identify and share Best Practice ideas to improve system standards
  • Support and attend our company's regional and national meetings
  • Gather and provide feedback to the corporate team on franchisee concerns
  • Attend regional educational conferences MUST-HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Have the ability to engage with and influence other successful business professionals who have joined our team. This includes:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or an Operations Management Related Field preferred
    • 5+ years in B2B sales and/or management and previous franchise management a plus
    • Prior training experience
    • Ability to work from home and travel up to 35% to our franchise owners within your assigned territory, preferred locations being the greater Triangle area
    • Proven track record in driving revenue growth
    • Demonstrated competency in business analysis, marketing and development
    • Design and/or implementation of systems for data input, collection, and aggregation
    • Exceptional written, verbal and consultative communication skills with the ability to influence, coach and motivate
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving and time management skills
    • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM systems
    • Motivated, self-manager with a strong team orientation
    • Strong presentation skills
    • You must be able to write, read, and speak fluently in English.
