Job Description:
A company is looking for a Profee General Surgery and Anesthesia
Coding Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Provide CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding for Professional Fee
services
Calculate ProFee E/M levels and apply diagnosis and procedure codes
accurately
Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and participate in ongoing
training and education
Required Qualifications
Certification through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P) is
mandatory
Minimum of 6 months of on-the-job experience in coding
Working knowledge of EMR and billing systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Must maintain a productivity level and accuracy rate of 95% or
higher
