Job Description:

The Senior Superintendent will oversee the day-to-day operations of construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves coordinating with project managers, subcontractors, and clients, as well as ensuring adherence to safety regulations and building codes. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in commercial construction, with a proven track record in healthcare projects being a major plus.
What will you do day-to-day?

• Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met.
• Oversee the work of subcontractors and ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site promptly and effectively.
• Ensure that all safety protocols are followed and that the job site is compliant with OSHA regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to maintain high standards of workmanship.
• Prepare and submit necessary documentation, including daily reports and project progress updates.
  Who are you?
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in commercial construction, with a focus on managing large-scale projects.
  • Proven experience in healthcare construction projects is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
