Job Description:
Job Summary:
The Employment Documents team focuses on documenting how associates
at ** work. ** employs associates in over 50 countries globally,
all of which require hiring documentation and policies. Labor laws
are ever-changing and ** needs to ensure our associates know their
rights and obligations. One of the ways we do that is via
employment documentation - employment agreements, handbooks, work
rules, policies, and more. The Global Employment Document
Specialist will play a critical role in supporting the business by
helping to ensure our documents are relevant, current, and
accessible to our associates.
This right person should be comfortable interpreting legal
guidance, and partnering with **'s Legal team, in order to support
the creation, publication, and maintenance of our employment
documents.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for the creation, maintenance, and governance of the
global, regional, and country-specific employment documents roadmap
that is consistent with **'s Total Rewards philosophy and enables
**'s talent strategy
Lead the drafting and governance of global, regional, and
country-specific employment documents.
Collaborate with Legal and local People team representatives and
provide subject-matter guidance to People team, associates, and
management on employment document matters
Participate in large-scale employment document projects and
initiatives related to mergers and acquisitions integration and
global expansion activities
Consult with regional and country-specific People team
representatives on impact of changes to employment documents.
Assist in ensuring regional employment documents remain consistent
with local law.
Consult with regional and country-specific Legal and People team
representatives to make recommendations on compliance with changes
to local labor & employment law
Conduct research to understand HR compliance requirements and
employment best practices to develop and implement employment
practices to support ** business
Required skills:
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, ever-changing
environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable establishing relationships at all levels of the
organization with excellent customer-facing and internal
communication skills
Ability to critically analyze and prioritize requests
1-3 years in a legal setting with a comfort with legal language
