Business Services center in Raleighs North Hills is home to some of
the companys critical shared service teams in North America,
including Information Technology, Global Financial Solutions, HR
Operations, R&D Data Science and Procurement Services Desk.
These functions provide the necessary support to ensure Gileads
business runs effectively and efficiently. The center is a catalyst
for standardization of processes, digital transformation, and
technology optimization. The ServiceNow Delivery Lead is
responsible to identify and provide technical direction to deliver
services that add value to our business partners. This role
partners cross-functionally to establish delivery and sustainment
oversight to ensure systemic feasibility that aligns to overall
strategic direction year over year. **Responsibilities of
ServiceNow delivery lead include:** + Collaborates with the
platform owner, app owners, BPOs and other boundary app leads to
ensure projects and enhancements are delivered efficiently +
Transforms service offerings to increase efficiency and reduce
manual efforts + Establishes strong relationship, advocate and
partner with business constituents + Adds value to the customer
journey and directly impact company growth and strategic objectives
+ Provides oversight and manage Service Partners to provide
effective sustainment/support services + Works closely with
cross-functional groups to introduce innovative features to provide
platform solutions to add value to business partners + Be the point
of contact to validate technical solutions and guide the teams to
deliver commitments timely and within budget + Engages in various
cross team deliverable to provide critical insights from technical
architecture perspective + Evaluates latest technical innovations
and implements as applicable accordingly to strategic alignment and
value + Manages implementation roadmap and architecture blueprint +
Establishes and manages technical governance processes for support
and development teams + Provide technical evaluation of demands for
new application integrations and changes to existing applications,
translating demands into an architectural blueprint + Partners with
the app teams, platform owner to review and guide the remediation
of code, configurations that do not align to ServiceNow best
practices + Provides standards, and design support for complex
requirements + Defines solutions across the platform that align to
out of the box capabilities + Ability to analyze system events on
the platform and propose system enhancement and stabilization ideas
+ Stays current on product development/releases to ensure solutions
consider the latest innovation + Orchestrates resources and
activities in the end-to-end execution and delivery of commitments
+ Ensures compliance (e.g. security, regulatory compliance, etc.) +
Ensures all deliverables and commitments are compliant with
relevant standards, processes, and methodology + Collaborates with
capability/product owners to ensure the product backlog is
well-groomed and ready for the next sprint. + Helps
capability/product owners in making the right decisions + Tracks
and provides capability/product and team metrics + Acts as a buffer
between the team and any distracting influences + Enables
collaboration between all different roles + Onboards and guide
Managed Service Provider resources to be efficient and be the point
of escalation to resolve conflicts, issues and risks + Be part of
the transformation team to drive value-add outcomes + Addresses
transformation challenges by helping team members navigate the
organization effectively + Provides continuous improvement input to
simplify procedures and leveraging technology tools (e.g. Machine
Learning, Artificial Intelligence, etc.) **Required Experience &
Skills** + Experience with organizational transformation and
process re-engineering + 8+ years of managing cross-functional
solutions on ServiceNow with an in-depth understanding of
ServiceNow architecture + Strong knowledge of ServiceNow glide
layer and wrappers build on top of it + Ability to document
roadmaps with functional design elements to achieve desired
offering, solution, application, or any other outcome + Strong
facilitation skills, to encourage clear articulation of the
business issues and effective solution design by the relevant
players + Direct hands-on experience working with/managing Managed
Service Providers and consultants + Proven record in managing and
delivering cross-functional assignments + Innovative thinker
bearing a growth mindset and enhancing ServiceNow experience and
utilization + In-depth knowledge and practical experiences of
Software Lifecycle Methodology and Agile Methodology + Solid
experiences with stakeholder management and vendor management +
Ability to work with dispersed and global teams to achieve
significant initiatives + Strong verbal and written communications
+ Strong leadership and management skills with ability to make
critical decisions and get alignment from different business and
technology teams + Excellent knowledge of budgeting and resource
allocation procedures + Excellent in risk management, conflict
management, and escalation management + Ability to find innovative
ways to resolve problems + Excellent interpersonal skills and
relationship development **Preferred Experience & Skills:** +
Specific experience in the Life Science/Pharma/Medical
Devices/Healthcare Industries + PMP, Service Now certification or
Agile certification or equivalent practical experiences + Solid
background in building roadmaps, create and execute on a strategic
vision + Hands-on experience with Information Technology project
and/or program delivery + Strong project and/or program management
skills + Outstanding communication, organizational, and
relationship-building skills, and collaboration at all levels
**Minimum Qualifications:** + 12+ years experience with High School
Diploma, 10+ years experience with AA, 8+ years experience with
BS/BA, 6+ years experience with MS/MA/MBA + Computer Science or

Gilead and Kite Careers The salary range for this position is:
$146,200.00 - $189,200.00. Gilead considers a variety of factors
when determining base compensation, including experience,
qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean
actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible
for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based
long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid
time off, and a benefits package. Benefits include
