Job Description:

Job Description Welding Technician must be proficient with various welding equipment such as MIG, TIG to perform structural steel welding for modular base frames and enclosure products. The welder will also use oxygen acetylene torches and plasma arc equipment to cut different thicknesses of steel for manufacturing walk-in enclosures and skid-based assemblies. Work Experience WELDER TEST REQUIREMENTS:Will need steel toe boots, a weld helmet, jacket, and gloves. Specific Position Requirements:Must follow safety guidelines and requirementsMust pass the welding testMust supply welding helmet and necessary tools (chipping hammers, etc.)Minimum of 3 years of experience with MIG, TIG, and Arc welding experience in variousmaterials (steel, aluminum)Minimum of 3 years experience reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches and assemblyinstructionsMinimum of 3 years experience utilizing oxy acetylene cutting equipmentMinimum of 3 years metal working experience utilizing press brakes, drill presses andshearsMust verify conformance of work to specificationsMust exhibit quality workmanshipComplete Time Reporting SheetsEnsure working environment is clean and safe.Able to lift 50# consistentlyAbility to work 10 hours per day and weekends as requiredMust have a valid Drivers License.Successful background check and drug-screen testing required.Experience that is a Plus:3-5 years structural steel welding experienceAWS D1.1 qualifiedFamiliar with weld testing methods I.e. dye penetrantExperience and Skill in utilizing metalworking equipment (Shear, Brake, Etc.)Framing experiencePlasma arc experienceLaser measuringBenefits Don't miss this chance to enhance your experience in a production environment while enjoying competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.
