V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Specialist - Mid Level for our premier client in Raleigh, North Carolina. Education and Experience ArcGIS Pro: 4 Years. Web Mapping: 4 Years. Data Editing: 4 Years. Experience with Enterprise Databases: 4 Years. ArcGIS Online: 4 Years. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Job Responsibilities: The Federal Communications Commission has released a statewide dataset for North Carolina on broadband serviceable locations, along with a challenge process that states can use to change and/or update the locations on the map. Locations need to be accurate on the FCC map to allow for funding programs to expand broadband across the state to the exact locations that are in need. This position will need to follow established processes for leveraging NC Statewide GIS datasets for parcels, addresses, building footprints and other location-specific data to identify problems with the FCC Broadband Serviceable Location dataset.
