preparing the job site for installation of gutters and/or roofing
systems in relation to success of gutter
installations.RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an
individual must be able to perform each essential duty
satisfactorily. The lists below are representative of the
knowledge, skill and/or ability required.Minimum Qualifications
Education: High School/G.E.D
preferred but not requiredYears of Experience: 2 - 5yrs of Gutter
or Metal experienceCertifications: None requiredDriver License:
REQUIRED (MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE COMPANY TRUCK)Must be
self-motivated, open-minded, and able to accept constructive
criticismKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of the basic safety techniques and procedures
- Ability to lift and carry gutter materials if the job
requires
- Ability to climb ladders, stairways, and scaffolding
- Interpersonal skills necessary to work on a team
- Ability to read and use a tape measure, mark, or record
distances
- General basic knowledge of construction materials and tools
involved in the construction or repair of structures
- Ability to perform general physical activities in construction
areas
- Ability to measure and install downspoutsEssential Functions
Clean up debris from the roof surface
and surrounding property.Operating Vehicles, Mechanized Devices, or
Equipment -Repair cracks, defects, or damage, using proper
materialsPhysical ability to stand and walk, lift, and carry items
weighing 50 pounds regularlyPhysical Demands
Requires standing up for long periods
of timeRequires use of ladders, scaffolds, and stairways Requires
ability to climb, lift, balance, walk, and handle materialsRequires
use of abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body
