Principal Solutions Architect will lead project teams to deliver
supply chain software implementations and other consulting needs
while directly executing our core value of Leading with Learning.
The Principal Solutions Architect will be excited about
knowledge-sharing, continuous learning, and mentoring others.How
you'll contribute:
- Work with customers using Blue Yonder Warehouse Management and
complimentary applications (Workforce Management, Parcel, Web
Visibility, Integrator, Event Management) to understand operations,
processes, and challenges
- Understand requirements and priorities of customers and
prospects through discovery
- Document requirements, solutions summaries, functional and
technical designs, and test plans
- Install, set up, and configure Blue Yonder applications to meet
customer requirements
- Work with project team on detail requirements for solution
design and provide deliverables to customer
- Create level of effort estimates for work
- Collaborate with the project manager to -ensure work governed
by an executed SOW is delivered profitably, timely, and in a
quality-excellence manner
- Configure the Blue Yonder Warehouse Management application
- Manage and support Blue Yonder environments
- Develop extensions to the Blue Yonder Warehouse Management -and
complimentary applications -using SQL, MOCA, JAVA, C, Perl, .NET
Script, and PHP
- Develop reports and labels
- Develop interfaces with third party systems (e.g., automation,
host systems, transportation systems, parcel systems)
- Drive strategic process improvements by participating in
manager summits, leadership meetings, and providing candid
feedbackEmployee Management
- Provide leadership to team members and mentor Solutions
Engineers/Architects
- Contribute to internal learning by training others,
developing/updating internal SOPs, and perpetuating a Leading with
Learning environment
- Establish a recurring meeting schedule with each direct report
to allow for a time/space of deliberate interaction and
updates
- Conduct formal and informal (as necessary) reviews for each
direct report; provide technical feedback on non-direct reports who
work on your projects to other managers
- Assist with technical interviews during the hiring process and
help onboard new direct reportsStrengths you'll bring:Minimum
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business,
Computer Science, Engineering, or related field of study
- Eight+ (8) years of experience delivering Blue Yonder supply
chain solutions
- Eight+ (8) years of experience in Blue Yonder software
implementation, standards, and protocols, including configurations
and integrations.
- Excellent technical programming background in Oracle, PL/SQL,
Java, .NET, Web Services
- Strong understanding of SDLC and change management disciplines
