Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Corporate Accounts Payable Specialist for our client located in Raleigh, NC 27603. This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity with flexible working hours and excellent benefits! This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with previous experience working in a similar role within the construction industry-particularly one with multi-state sales and use tax expertise. RESPONSIBILITIES: Receiving, coding, and processing a high volume of invoices from vendors Communicating with various departments, project managers and vendors Researching and resolving invoice discrepancies Assessing sales tax and applying use tax Processing and updating W-9's and new vendor information Processing credit card expense report Assisting with 1099's and year-end reporting Other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS: 2+ years Accounts Payable experience Construction industry experience preferred MS Word, MS Excel- and experience with Vista by Viewpoint software preferred Professionalism, persistence, strong initiative, excellent time management, follow-up and organization skills, willingness to learn and pay strict attention to detail. Strong communication & interpersonal skills; positive attitude Strong problem-solving skills Must be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
