Job Description

We are looking for a talented Senior Software Quality Engineering Lead who passionately believes that "good enough is never enough." You will be responsible for taking our capabilities in automation, tools, process, and effectiveness to the next level, providing technical leadership, and strategic quality direction to engineering teams for the Equity Management platform.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all testing activities on assigned projects including definition of testing approach, test effort estimation, progress and status reporting, training and education for new QA processes and tools
• Define quality metrics and implement measurements to determine test effectiveness, testing efficiency, and measure the overall quality of the Product
• Provide continuous review and recommendations for improvement of processes to ensure quality is considered through all phases of the SDLC
• Set processes for status reporting/dash-boarding of metrics
• Set goals and objectives for moving the team towards an automation first test approach
• Communicate the status of testing initiatives to stakeholder groups and lead triage meetings
• Implement and evolve QA processes to scale testing efforts across multiple products
• Continuous Improvement - help define, improve and implement test processes and tools
• Onshore and offshore coordination

    Qualification and Experience
    
    • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, related technical discipline, or equivalent job experience
    • 5+ years of SaaS web application testing experience in a fast-paced agile environment
    • Strong working knowledge and understanding of Agile SDLC and concepts
    • Experience in CI/CD pipeline setup and monitoring
    • Experience with relational databases, hands-on experience with SQL queries
    • Experience with testing REST APIs (Postman, Curl)
    • Experience with performance and load testing
    • Experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software testing solutions and methodologies.
    • Coding proficiency in at least one modern language like C# or Java.
    • Solid experience in Version Control/Source control management tools like Bitbucket, GitHub, JIRA, and Azure DevOps.
