Payroll & Benefits Specialist
Storable is seeking a Payroll Specialist to help manage our payroll
processes using ADP Workforce Now to keep our employee operations
running smoothly. Our service-oriented team is focused on

Reporting to the Manager of Shared Services, this role requires a
detail-oriented team player who can manage multiple business unit
payroll requirements across several state jurisdictions.
Principal job responsibilities include:
- Serve as the primary payroll administrator. Ensure payroll is
processed with speed and accuracy for several entities and more
than 540 employees.
- Submit and ensure that semi-monthly payroll cycles are
processed accurately in ADP Workforce Now.
- Serve as liaison to employees to ensure payroll processing
accurately reflects company pay policies.
- Audit employee pay records and reconciles totals by department,
location, country, etc.
- Attend to the Shared Services queue - respond to employee
payroll questions via Slack and e-mail.
- Assist with payroll system implementations and upgrades.
- Interpret pay policies, (e.g., vacation, LOA, disability,
workers compensation, withholding, etc.) and ensure appropriate
amounts/deductions are calculated and applied to the various
accounts correctly.
- Backup for preparation of month-end payroll reports for bonus
accruals and monthly close activities. Ensure HRIS (ADP Workforce
Now) data remains up-to-date and accurate.
- Assist with audits of internal records.
- Document payroll processes and procedures.
- Quarterly audit of benefit enrollments and backup with open
enrollment
- Assist to build out content for Warehouse to help improve
employee engagement
- Respond to VOEs and garnishments
- Assist with leave of absence tracking
What you need to bring to the table:
- A minimum of 3 years of Payroll experience in a multi-state
environment; 401(k) experience at a multi-state employer a
plus.
- 2+ years experience working with ADP Workforce Now Payroll, a
plus
- Proficiency with Google and Microsoft Office products.
- Organizational skills; strong detail, process, and
quality-oriented mindset.
- A love for doing the right things, the right way.
- An optimistic, service-oriented attitude and a drive to grow
and develop in a scaling SaaS organization.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing
deadlines.
