materials and to bring finished good pallets to proper
area.PRINCIPAL DUTIESBe sure all materials for departments are in
place to be able to meet production schedule. Be sure all materials
that are required are pulled. This would include frames, boxes,
glass, media or wire.Pull and deliver inventory to the production
floor. Cycle count inventory, inspect materials, and put items
away. Make sure raw materials department is kept clean and
orderly.Adhere to all safety regulations in forklift
operations.Performs other duties as assigned by management.REQUIRED
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESPrevious forklift experience
helpful.Must complete and pass Phase 1 of forklift program.Must be
able to operate a forklift in a professional manner and have good
maneuverability skills.Ability to drive a forklift in a safe manner
adhering to all safety guidelines.Must complete a measuring test.
Must have the ability to learn various computer programs. Must do
data entry for inventory department. Strong written and verbal
communication skills.Must be able to read and understand written
quality procedures. DECISIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIESStaging and
receiving materials. Keeping the area neat and orderly. PHYSICAL
REQUIREMENTS/Working ConditionsMust be able to lift up to
approximately 50 pounds.Safety glasses are required at all times to
protect against dust and particles. Must be able to operate a
forklift according to proper safety guidelines including the
wearing of seat belts. Must be able to work in or travel through
the manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes and
dust particles. Must be able to withstand both hot and cold
atmosphere depending on weather conditions.Must be able to travel
throughout the facility to obtain information needed to perform job
