Position Description - ImpactAt Prometheus Group the Associate QA Engineer is a highly valued member of a rapidly growing team. Associate QA Engineers are responsible for the testing, verification, and overall quality of our software at a base level. Working in a dynamic start-up-like environment, the Associate QA Engineer will help grow the QA team into a more valuable department by helping identify inefficiencies and strengthen existing processes. This is an entry-level position which offers opportunities for immediate growth. Responsibilities

• Test the development output of an assigned product team within the sprint timeframe
• Verify that sprint work does not cause obvious quality regressions
• Validate reported defects and audit feature requests for ticket quality
• Utilize JIRA to maintain testing outcomes and track the development process
• Build, maintain, and execute test scripts to ensure product functionality
• Maintain the Regression Suite for assigned product areas using Best Practices
• Create and maintain related documentation within Confluence
• Supervise QA Interns when necessary
  Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree or relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of QA terminology and methodologies
  • Demonstrated knowledge of testing best practices
  • Knowledge and/or experience with ticket writing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate technical information, both verbally and through documentation
  • Ability to think critically as demonstrated through problem solving and decision making
  • Comfortability using a development tracking system (JIRA)
    Preferred Skills
    • Functional understanding of plant maintenance workflows, including both routine and shut down/turnaround maintenance
    • Functional and/or technical knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Maximo, etc.)
    • Experience working in a production or manufacturing facility, or similar
    • Knowledge and/or experience with agile methodologies
    • Experience with programs such as:
    • Visual Studios
    • SourceTree
    • JMeter
    • TestRail
    • Experience with programming languages
    • Experience with debugging
