Apply today!What You'll DoAs a DevSecOps Information Security Architect, you will work with multiple business units and DevOps teams to implement, configure and administer DevSecOps tools in CI/CD pipelines. You will work in partnership with InfoSec and Security & Trust(STO) organization to ensure Cisco stays a leader in DevSecOps tools, techniques, and processesRoles And Responsibilities

  • Lead all the security efforts, you will be mentoring and coaching other team members on your immediate team
  • Work closely with other BU's DevOps teams assisting in implementing and maintaining security tools and processes
  • Ensure that proper metrics are in place to show improvements in our processes and to identify gaps
  • Implement, Integrate, and maintain security scanning tools
  • Providing security-focused technical evaluation and research to various security products, vendor offerings, technical solutions, developing prototypes,
  • Evaluating internal processes, tools, and leading technical evaluation from a security strategy perspective.
  • Providing mentorship/guidance on emerging security technologies and competitive trends to engineering & security teams.
  • Develop technical research/recommendation, security white papers/briefs, and enhance and scale Security Strategy and Operations.
  • Actively use, understand, and evaluate security products alongside business needs and translate observations into roadmap objectives that promote high-impact security improvements.
  • Bring to bear technical skills to build plans, identify dependencies and risks, help teams remove impediments, and ensure smooth releases.
  • Run the end-to-end service planning and delivery process.Qualifications
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and you should thrive in a fast-paced environment
    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, M.S. preferred, or equivalent work experience with security technologies.
    • 7+ years of cybersecurity experience (application/cloud security, architectural reviews, security engineering, security evaluations, etc.)
    • Knowledge of application security (static analysis, dynamic analysis, automated testing)
    • Experience in managing security scanning solutions ( on-premise as well as the cloud) such as Checkmarx, Rapid 7
    • Knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Windows)
    • Solid understanding of security standards, principles, and common security frameworks such as OWASP-Top 10, CIS benchmarks,NIST, ISO 27001.
    • Deep understanding of network protocols, cryptography, PKI, security threats, attack techniques, evasive techniques, detection, and prevention and mitigation methods.
    • Understand the security models in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
    • Experience with security operations, monitoring, and vulnerability management.
    • Bring development experience in the cloud environment with one or more programming languages (Python).
    • Demonstrated experience in producing, documenting, and explaining layered architectural diagrams and topology diagrams, emphasizing security & data protection details.
    • Systems integration experience involving the interfacing of complex systems components with one another
    • Experience with agile methodologies, working in a fast phased agile engineering/security environment.
    • You have practical presentation skills to highly technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Self-motivated with excellent team skills.
    • Influence decision-makers at all levels.
    • Someone eager to learn has solid critical thinking skills and is an effective communicator.
    • Industry security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP are a plus.
