Job DescriptionM3 Wake Research Inc. is one of the largest
independent clinical research site services companies in North
America. Wake Research has 21 owned and managed research sites
across 8 states in the US and continues to grow. Due to continued
growth and expansion, we are seeking a Community Engagement and
Outreach Specialist for our Raleigh, NC location.The Research
Assistant performs a variety of administrative tasks in support of
clinical trials and assists in the performance of clinical
procedures to collect data on patients enrolled and/or seeking
enrollment in clinical studies.Requirements
- Identify and contact local support groups and partner with them
to promote local trial through their channels (websites,
newsletters, meetings, eblasts)
- Engage and build relationships with community organizations in
order to expand reach and invite more applications and participants
from diverse communities.
- Serve as the point person for partnering with local
community-based organizations to create a pipeline of speaking
engagements/presentations for the local sites to increase community
awareness of the clinical trials.
- Build relationships with community and educational-based
organizations and stakeholders to develop appropriate strategies to
connect participants to available studies.
- Develop and expand partnerships with these organizations to
collaborate on additional recruitment/participation initiatives.
Share best practices and explore opportunities to work together for
increased effectiveness and efficiency
- Develop and provide local site leaders with collateral and
materials for distribution during on-site meetings ex. Drawings and
prizes, handouts, promotional items, etc.
- Prepare monthly client reports for delivery and performance,
and research competitive intelligence.Requirements
- Bachelors degree or equivalent years of industry
experience
- 1 year clinical research/ healthcare experience
- Knowledge of in-bound lead generation strategy and
execution
- Healthcare industry experience a BIG plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to
effectively partner with internal and external stakeholders
- Highly self-motivated, organized and able to operate
autonomously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- A people person who loves making connections,
- A natural excitement about meeting people and building trusting
relationships with them
- Eagerness to support and build up communities, particularly
those that have historically been excluded from homeownership
opportunities
- An outgoing, eager learner who loves building new
networks,
- A community member who loves sharing their work and engaging

- 2+ years of digital marketing, social media advertising
experience
- 3+ years of work in community organizing, outreach, advocacy,
community building, or a related field natural excitement about
meeting people and building trusting relationships with
