GESS International (www.gessinternational.com) is looking for a highly motivated Client Investment Associate to join their growing team in Raleigh, NC!About GESS International: GESS International (www.gessinternational.com), headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina, is a highly experienced and globally established renewable energy service company. GESS International is the largest and fastest growing biogas company in the US with close to $800 million in renewable energy projects. As an energy service company with twenty-one years of energy efficiency and renewable energy experience, GESS International is developing Biogas anaerobic digester plants across the United States and is utilizing solar to help lower the carbon intensity by offsetting the use of fossil fuels to power these plants.About the Position: The Client Investment Associate will be responsible for understanding and compliance with investment packages up to and including Reg D offering SEC requirements, establishing relationships with private investors and financial institutions and lead day-to-day activities for investing. The person in this role will lead activities for new investments, monitor current investments and present financial models. Additional responsibilities include the assembly of summary material for direct or fund investments. This person will actively participate in financial and strategic analysis for the business, maintaining focus onnew GESS investors. You must be comfortable interacting with executivelevel personnel in large to mid-sized investment management companies and C-level targets in the biogas arena, building strong relationships to further your lead generation. Only applicants with proper license and credentials will be considered for this position.Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Meeting or exceeding monthly, quarterly and annual revenue goals
  • Assist in evaluating, structuring, negotiating, and closing new transactions
  • Work with senior staff to develop a strong pipeline of investment opportunities
  • Supervise existing portfolio of clients, participate in and lead portfolio actions such as changes to approved terms, restructurings, equity sales, etc.
  • Participate or lead negotiations as appropriate; use financial competencies and interpersonal skills to overcome impasses and lead negotiations to a successful outcome
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, national and regional private businesses, banking and other partners to develop specific investment opportunities
  • Coordinate closely with environmental and technical colleagues in order to add value to our clients' businesses, find pragmatic solutions to the specific sector challenges, and achieve sustainable development impact
  • Establishing a strong sales pipeline, sales forecasts and updating accounts to support revenue growth
  • Create a sales strategy for each prospect
  • Assemble presentation teams and strategy for onsite meetings and demonstrations
  • Assist in developing and implementation of marketing materials and programs as necessaryAbout the Candidate: This position will require the following background and experience:
    • Operations Professional Series 99 License is required for consideration of this position
    • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in successful securities sales with a proven track-record
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications required, G-Suite and ShareFile preferred
    • Solid knowledge base in investment and securities sales and ability to apply basic sales principles (i.e. lead generation, opportunity qualification, proposal development, account management and closure)
    • Strong financial and credit skills; demonstrated experience in a variety of financial instruments (debt and equity);
    • Solid knowledge of industries, industry trends and opportunities in the sub-region;
    • Genuine commitment to sustainable development and to highest ethical standards;
    • Ability to effectively execute sales strategies using a consultative approach and relationship building techniques
    • Ability to interface with all levels within the client organization to include individual properties, large portfolios and other senior leadership in large to mid-sized companies
    • Strong, engaging presentation skills and ability to demonstrate product value
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work independently, and also work effectively with a team
    • Ability to develop and maintain solid client relationships
    • Ability to understand and demonstrate technical products
    • Prior experience entering data into a CRM system to support up to date client contact and information
