Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Principal Talent Acquisition Sourcer you will have deep domain
expertise in recruiting for IBM strategic skills investment areas.
The Principal TA Sourcer will work across TA at the geography level
creating synergy, capturing best practices, and delivering results
for specific skills pipeline.
TA professional must be a recognized thought leader in the skills
domain area, frequently sought out by peers and business leaders to
provide effective strategies to build and maintain a pipeline of
ready now leads/candidates in the given domain area. This
professional will seek out opportunities to help deploy the IBM
Strategic Sourcing model in order to secure new IBM client
Key roles and responsibilities:
---Partner with our internal recruitment team and hiring community
to understand the specific sector, industry and service line
requirements for open opportunities
---Interpret the business hiring requirements and translate them
into successful recruitment strategies and solutions
---Identify, attract and introduce IBM to the best and most diverse
talent in the marketplace by providing market and compete
intelligence, screening and evaluating candidates as
---Demonstrate speed and quality in attracting passive talent and
recommend strategies in accelerate our hiring practices
---Effectively communicate with the internal recruiting and hiring
management teams to determine the status and effectiveness of the
recruiting channels for each open position
---Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the
hiring team, candidates and external professional and community
organizations to create a partnerships that yields success,
predictable results and credibility
---Develop a network through industry contacts, association
memberships, trade groups and hiring team to help identify and
source qualified candidates
---Research and recommend new sources for active and passive
---Leverage the internet, including social and professional
networking sites, market insights, and AI sourcing tools to
identify and source candidates
---Provide complete, accurate and inspiring employment value
proposition to potential candidates about IBM and the specific
---Participate in the development of ongoing creative and
cost-effective sourcing strategies
---Develop an effective pipeline of key talent for frequently hired
roles within assigned group or project
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
At least 3 years' experience in developing diverse candidate
At least 3 years' experience in candidate sourcing, screening,
interview and selection
At least 3 years' experience in building and maintaining recruiting
At least 3 years' experience in Social Media and Candidate Channel
Successful track record in all levels of recruiting
Ability to quickly assimilate technical information and build
solutions to meet business needs
Experience positively influencing others.
Knowledge and practice of agile methodologies
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Bachelor's Degree in a related field
At least 5 years' experience in developing candidate sourcing
At least 5 years' experience in candidate sourcing, screening,
interview and selection
At least 5 years' experience in building and maintaining recruiting
At least 5 years' experience in Social Media and Candidate Channel
Demonstration of team approaches to sourcing
