Your field of responsibility
DBaaS NoSQL Infrastructure team will offer MongoDB and
PostgreSQL as an on/off premise service and provide this service
for Regional and Global Systems across the Organization Front and
Back office functions. We support mission critical and highly
available application databases.
The team is looking for senior developer with interest and
expertise in distributed databases, data management and
infrastructure as Code. Team is developing automation workflows for
cluster provisioning, Node management, schema management, Role
Based Access Model, Active Directory integration, Security,
ecosystem (monitoring, inventory, compliance tools) integration,
monitoring in hybrid cloud deployment model.

production and has expertise in developing backend software

- Identifies, analyzes, designs, develops/configures software and
systems applications (in-house developed and third party) to ensure
processes and functionality of the applications align with the
organizations requirements and development standards.
- Researches, plans, develops, tests, implements, and supports
internal & external interfaces and workflows among existing and new
application/data management platforms to produce flawless
integration and process flows.
- Investigates, analyzes and makes recommendations to management
regarding technology improvements, upgrades and modifications
- Works with key internal business partners and external vendors
to influence the direction of third party
- Implements periodic maintenance releases of applications,
interfaces, work/flows, data models and reports including
improvements, redesign, and defect correction.

Your skills and experience
We are looking for an applicant with equivalent experience of
designing and implementing low-latency, high-scalability systems.
Proven experience of at least 5 plus years of programming work
experience Python languages and willingness to pick up more if
needed. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field from
an institution accredited by a nationally recognized accrediting
- Equivalent experience of at least 5 years with MongoDB,
PostgreSQL and other distributed databases - your work will require
solving problems the internals and possibly modifying them.
- Identify feature gaps in the technologies and work with the
open source community to co-design and co-develop features and bug
- Five years' dynamically responsible experience in designing,
developing/configuring implementing and supporting software
applications (in-house developed and third party).
- Proven experience with any SQL, NoSQL database systems using
any procedural language SQL, JSON etc.
Nice to have
- PaaS experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB examples Tanzu,
EDB, AZURE or others.
- Upstream, accepted open source contributions to Postgres,
MongoDB or other NoSQL technologies.
- Production experience with NoSQL databases or other distributed
storage technologies in a platform/infrastructure software
- Experience with Kubernetes and developing custom Kubernetes
