This temporary position is located in Raleigh - Wake County.

Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $16.00 (Based on education and/or
years of relevant work experience reflected on the application)
This temporary position will be assigned to the Department of
Health & Human Services - PH - Epidemiology - State Labe & OCME.
This position will provide data entry for high volume of
investigation reports, death certificates, autopsy reports, meeting
requests for public records, file/case review, and filing. Must be
highly organized, detail oriented and effective communicator. This
position provides support to Chief Medical Examiner, other
Pathologists and Medical Examiners within the state ME system, as
well as provides information to decedent families via document
request fulfillment. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities /

- Ability to read and interpret instructions provided in manuals
- Data entry experience from source documents in a rapid and
- Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures and
- Exercise confidentiality and security of records at all
- Ability to learn to use a variety of computer applications
specially designed for the agency
- Ability to prioritize work in meeting deadlines and the
flexibility to change priorities frequently and quickly
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED)
diploma and two years of related administrative experience; or
equivalent combination of education and experience.
