In Clayton, NC, we now operate two adjacent pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities that are responsible for fulfilling different steps in our injectable and oral treatment supply chains.

Our Clayton, NC Diabetes Finished Products (DFP) facility is a 457,000 square foot aseptic "fill and finish" site that is responsible for producing innovative, injectable diabetes and obesity treatments. When you work at DFP, you'll join a global network of manufacturing professionals focused on several key, final production processes, including sterile formulation, filling, inspection, device assembly and packaging.

Position Purpose

Perform administrative & support related tasks for the Vice President of Quality & DFP Quality Departments at Site Clayton.


+ Capable of performing administrative & support related activities with minimal supervision

+ General administrative responsibilities include but are not limited to screening/answering calls, managing multiple calendars & email, making travel arrangements, working with meeting agendas, orchestrating team building events, etc.

+ Data collection, analysis & reporting (i.e. Key Performance Indicators, Annual Product Review, Quality Management Review, etc.)

+ Professional presentation preparation (i.e., via PowerPoint)

+ Managing & coordinating multiple projects/tasks simultaneously in a fast paced work environment, sometimes under pressure, with minimal supervision

+ Continuous improvement of administrative & support related work processes

+ Coordination activities associated with audits & inspections

+ Follow all safety & environmental requirements in the performance of duties

+ Other accountabilities, as assigned

Required Qualifications

+ AA/AS/AAS in a relevant field or a relevant combination of work experience & education

+ Minimum of three (3) years of directly relevant work experience successfully performing administrative & support related tasks such as screening/answering calls, managing calendar & inbox, making travel & meeting arrangements, data collection & reporting, and presentation preparation

+ Experience successfully creating & continuously improving efficient & effective administrative work process system

+ Superior organization & planning skills with strong attention to detail

+ Strong knowledge & experience using Microsoft Office applications including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project & Outlook

Physical & Other Requirements

+ Occasionally moves equipment and/or supplies weighing up to 33 pounds within the facility using various body positions

+ Constantly operates a computer & other office equipment using hands

+ Able to work in an open office environment with the possibility of frequent distraction
