The Johnston County Department of Social Services has an
immediate opening for a Leadworker III position in the Clerical
Unit, located at 714 North Street, Smithfield.

Duties and Responsibilities
This position consists of supervision over 18 permanent, full
time staff and some temporary staff as needed. This position is
responsible for overseeing all clerical procedures and
responsibilities are completed in a professional and timely manner.
This position is responsible for inputting all the Foster Care
Medicaid cards, overseeing the mail process and duties, and
ensuring forms are scanned, created, and/or updated for the agency.
Also, this position running reports, conduct audits for the
scanning group, and maintain the notary rotation for the staff.
This position is in charge of several programs within the agency as
well as any additional duties as assigned.

Desired Education and Experience
High school graduation and a minimum of 2 years clerical
experience with some leadership abilities.
