JOB SUMMARY: RapidScale is seeking a project manager who will lead, plan and execute internally facing projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for prioritization, scheduling and execution by working with internal engineering groups, Cox project managers, and their respective IT organizations. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and manage project schedules Initiate and schedule project Kick Off calls Clearly communicate the requirements, resourcing needs and timelines to project stakeholders Assists in gathering technical details of the project Schedule all events and utilize the Project Management system to keep stakeholders up to date Uses systematic approach to track development activity interdependencies and schedules; plans and schedules current activities; adapts as plans are changed due to changes in priorities and requirements Create and manage project templates to increase efficiencies Keep clear and concise notes and post them in Project Management system for stakeholders Has greater interaction stakeholders; actively participates in presentations Manages projects from kickoff through final implementation.Qualifications: Skills and Educational Requirements: A strong candidate will need the following: Interpersonal Relationship skillsets, strong organizational skills, time management skills, and good phone skills. Good understanding of Microsoft Office suite, including MS Project and Outlook. A college degree, PMP and/or equivalent work experience is desired. Needed Attributes: Positive Attitude, Sense of Urgency and a creative mindset, Networking background. Inter-Relationships: Needs to work well with others in a highly demanding position. This position will require working with several departments and different personalities. Working Environment: Fast paced, positive, high energy environment. This position may have high levels of stress due to deadlines and necessity of quick response times.
