Production Welder-IMMEDIATE NEEDS

Job Description:

Seeking Welders that are proficient in MIG and TIG welding to weld steel structures for a large manufacturing company in Clayton, NC. The welder will also use oxygen acetylene torches and plasma arc equipment to cut different thicknesses of steel. The welder will be working as part of a team of welders completing structural parts and assemblies to specific blueprint dimensions.Competitive Pay based on experience FULL Time hours! • Minimum of 3 years of experience with MIG, TIG and Arc welding experience in various materials (steel, aluminum)
• Minimum of 3 years' experience reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches and assembly instructions
• Minimum of 3 years' experience utilizing oxy acetylene cutting equipment
• Minimum of 3 years' metal working experience utilizing press brakes, drill presses and shears
• Must be able to pass a MIG weld test prior to getting started
• Must be willing to submit to a drug screen prior to employment
• Must be willing to submit to a back ground check prior to employmentDescription:
  • 3-5 years' structural steel welding experience
  • AWS D1.1 qualified
  • Familiar with weld testing methods I.e. dye penetrant
  • Experience and Skill in utilizing metalworking equipment (Shear, Brake, Etc.)
  • Framing experience
  • Plasma arc experience
