An ASIC PLM Engineer for Marvell’s ASIC Business Unit takes on a
variety of roles related to Product Line Management for Marvell’s
custom silicon products. This is an exciting, dynamic role with
broad exposure to different areas within the business and across
Marvell’s larger organization. Job responsibilities include
development of proposals for custom silicon designs, program
management of customer projects and silicon IP, and assessment of
costs and P&Ls. This position can be defined as either specific
to one of the above areas or a rotational assignment for the first
2-3 years, depending on candidate background and interests.
The ideal candidate will have background in electrical,
computer, chemical, or mechanical engineering, and familiarity with
semiconductor design and/or manufacture. Graduate?level emphasis on
semiconductor design or a related discipline is preferred.
Familiarity with concepts of program management and fundamentals of
business analysis will be an asset.
Strong teamwork skills are essential. This position works
closely with multiple senior engineers across organizations and
good communication will be key to success. Regular opportunities to
interact with executive management will arise, and polished
presentation skills are a strong plus. Some travel (domestic and
international) for planning and customer meetings is expected.

Develop specifications, schedules, and design documentation
Required Skills and Qualifications
Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a
tightly?coupled team are a must
Fluent in English language, both written and verbal.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or
related fields and at least 1-3 years of related professional
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or
related fields with no professional experience.
Fluency in Chinese
Program Management experience
Business Analysis experience
