Job Description:

Learning Technologies Group (LTG) is looking for a dynamic Human Resources leader for the role of HR Director for the North and South American Regions. This person will have firsthand knowledge of all aspects of Human Resources for our locations located in the U.S., Canada and Columbia.

This role partners with the Managing Directors to develop and implement HR solutions to optimize talent, support business objectives and improve processes. The HR Director will also collaborate with all levels of management to effectively resolve employee relations issues and work directly with the CPO based in the UK.

Responsibilities:

Assist CPO in implementing HR strategy across the US, Canadian and Colombian Companies.

Identify business needs and partner with leadership to develop and implement solutions that meet identified needs.

Coach leadership in the development of department goals and objectives that correspond with overall organizational strategy.

Ensure that HR practices are aligned with organization objectives.

Coach, support, and influence Leadership Team in all HR-related areas.

Provide expert and confident counsel on employee relations issues.

Facilitate compensation processes in partnership with Leadership Team, including salary planning, bonus & commission allocation and administration within budgetary guidelines.

Overall responsibility for the payroll, benefits enrollment and tax filing for employees in all 17 states.

Identify training needs, partnering with appropriate resources to assist in developing appropriate training materials and deliver training when required.

Partner with the Talent Acquisition department to ensure recruiting and hiring strategies are executed appropriately. Participate in interviews for leadership positions.

Review and assess exit interviews, investigate concerns, and proactively work with management to address issues.

Requirements:

At least 8 years of experience in progressive HR roles.

Candidates with organizational experience as a HRBP within a high growth technology company will be strongly preferred.

The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous and performance driven environment.

Proven ability to develop strong professional relationships.

Willingness to proactively identify issues and opportunities in the business, make the appropriate recommendations, and take the appropriate action to get things done.

Proven ability to drive and enhance company culture.

Demonstrable track record of building and optimizing processes, systems, and structures in complex organisations.

A track record of leading projects in an international and matrixed environment.

Strong business insight and high EQ to successfully collaborate with executives and business partners at all levels.

You share our values, and work in accordance with those values.

Previous experience of managing a payroll department across multiple states.

Bi-lingual candidates are highly preferred. (English/Spanish)

Significant experience working in South America is required

A high level of expertise in board level reporting

Knowledge of employment law.

In depth knowledge of Insurance Benefits in the US, Canada and South America.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, lead and motivate others and skills to work effectively cross functionally.

Excellent knowledge of change management strategies, processes and interventions including culture change.

Wide knowledge of design and delivery of OD management strategies and L&D initiatives to meet business needs with recent achievements and awareness of future issues.

Flexible approach to working hours, able to travel and stay overnight on occasions.

Experience of setting, monitoring and achieving personal, team and organisational standards and targets in a positive way.

Project management ability.

Critical thinking skills with the ability to research and analyze data drawn from multiple sources to make effective recommendations.
