US$100000.00 - US$125000.00 per year + Commissions, Full Benefits Package

The Director of Business Development is directly responsible for the success in outside selling, leading and developing leads and opportunities within the defined region. The ability to deliver results in a fast-paced changing landscape within the wireless telecom industry is essential. This individual will be customer and team focused, competitive, open-minded, responsible, and have a highly motivated demeanor to be successful in this position. THIS POSITION IS REMOTE BUT YOU MUST RESIDE WITHIN THE SOUTH EASTERN PART OF THE UNITED STATES TO BE CONSIDERED.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop a list of new accounts within the defined region while increasing revenues from existing clients

Develop and foster relationships in the region to meet sales objectives of the business for all of companys service offerings (site acquisition, A&E, and construction)

Manage relationships with key customers, business partners, vendors and sub-contractors that support the initiative to build upon core competencies

Further establish market presence and develop key customer relationships

Set and meet revenue and market share objectives

Develop a sales strategy in the assigned region with a target prospect list and a regional sales plan

Organize and prepare proposal packages for consideration of proposed deals/structures to be reviewed by senior staff

Prospect qualification, development and execution of new sales opportunities and ongoing revenue streams

Pipeline management, sales process management including effective forecasting and opportunity closure using CRM (Customer Relationship Management)

Arrange and conduct collaborative meetings with our internal production teams and clients to ensure scope of the project, timing, pricing, and responsibilities are outlined prior to the project start

Ongoing account management to ensure customer satisfaction and to drive additional revenue streams

Being the trusted advisor to the customer by understanding their existing and future build plans and road map to drive companys service offerings across all verticals (A&E, site development and, construction)

Ability to quickly establish trust/relationships with customers in the region

Financial Acumen Apply financial reason to any and every new business opportunity to increase the probability of higher profits by project sold; View the business from a financial perspective to truly evaluate profit and loss

Managerial Responsibility:

No direct reports

Physical Demands:

Ability to travel up to 50-75% nationwide

Skills and Abilities Required:

Knowledge of wireless telecom (i.e. build plans for Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint)

Proficiency with MS Office products and sales management software

Ability to interface with key managers and executives throughout the organization

Ability to interface regularly with sales management to communicate goals and objectives

Ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) effectively with stakeholders and senior business leadership of internal departments and customers

Ability to escalate to the appropriate person, at the appropriate time, and in the appropriate manner

Ability to foster, promote and strengthen relationships with key customers, telecom/wireless providers and vendors

Ability to assess and evaluate competition from other market participants, and external markets as well as between suppliers and partners

Ability to work independently while maintaining robust communication with management regarding activities

Ability to effectively meet customers needs, build productive internal and external stakeholder relationships, and take responsibility for customer satisfaction and loyalty

Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve issues and conflicts with the involved parties

Ability to manage multiple parallel initiatives

Ability to understand the financial impact of decisions on the profitability of the proposed initiatives

Education and Experience:

High school diploma

Bachelors degree (BBA in Marketing or Management) preferred

3-5 + years of experience in sales

Experience selling site acquisition, A&E, and/or site development services

Experience selling multiple types of projects including macro new site build, site modifications, small cell, DAS, and/or OSP engineering

1-2 + years of experience in a regional sales/account role
