FDH Infrastructure Services is currently recruiting a motivated
junior transactional attorney to join our team in Raleigh,
reporting to the General Counsel. As Associate Counsel you will
help drive strategic and tactical legal initiatives and provide
in-house legal services. You will have the opportunity to get
involved with complex business transactions, crafting and
negotiating critical contracts. As Associate Counsel you will also
interpret laws, rulings and regulations to advise on legal matters
across a range of subject matter areas.
In this role, you will assist the General Counsel in a variety
of areas, including:
Reviewing, drafting and advising on a range of commercial
agreements such as master services agreements, amendments to
existing customer agreements, non-disclosure agreements, RFP’s,
government contracts, teaming agreements, and vendor
Creating, reviewing, managing, and maintaining the company’s
corporate contract templates.
Providing guidance on legal issues and risk mitigation
strategies relating to corporate contracts.
Assisting in administration of contract management system.
Collaborating with various internal groups to understand and
ensure consistency within the company’s risk management
Conducting research and provide legal advice regarding specific
legal and/or regulatory issues.
Participating in the definition and development of corporate
policies, procedures and programs and provide continuing counsel
and guidance on legal matters.
Staying apprised of emerging regulatory issues and legislative
What You’ll Bring To Succeed
J.D. from an ABA accredited Law School.
A license to practice law in at least one state, North Carolina
1 - 5 years of legal experience, 0-4 years of experience as a
Familiarity and experience with transactional matters, contract
negotiations, and contract law is required.
Exposure to and understanding of any of the following subject
matter areas would be a plus: intellectual property, data security
and data privacy, corporate governance, employment, insurance,
product liability, and mergers & acquisitions.
Strong business acumen with a focus on mitigating risk.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to present
effectively verbally and in writing.
Ability to multi-task, work independently as well as
collaboratively with others in a fast-paced environment and to
adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Detail and process oriented.
Unquestionable integrity and ethical credibility.
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
