  • Communicate clearly and sensitively with clients
  • Draft legal documents including motions, complaints, and orders
  • Create and maintain case files
  • Facilitate the meeting of attorney's deadlines by keeping organized schedules and providing timely reminders
  • Conduct legal research as needed
  • Track time accurately and consistently at the time that work is performed Qualifications
    • Experience as a family law paralegal preferred
    • Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certificate preferred
    • Integrity
    • Empathy
    • Strong work ethic
    • NC Notary or ability to obtain one immediately if hired
    • E-filing experience preferred
    • Experience with Clio or similar software
