Position Summary This recruitment is for two (2) Bldg & Env Svcs Tech positions. By applying, you will be considered for both positions: 00057194, 00051798 This position supports the daily cleaning and upkeep of UNC’s parking decks to ensure safe and clean facilities for students, staff, and visitors. Duties focus primarily on custodial and cleaning tasks within parking garages, including picking up trash, sweeping drive aisles and stairwells, cleaning elevators and lobbies, emptying trash cans, and maintaining common areas throughout the decks. Work includes both manual cleaning and operating equipment such as blowers and ride-on sweepers to maintain the facilities. This position also performs periodic deep cleaning tasks such as power washing stairwells, wiping handrails and doors, and cleaning elevator interiors. The role requires working outdoors in parking facilities and responding during adverse weather events, including snow and ice removal from decks and pedestrian areas. Work Schedule 1:30PM – 10:00PM
