Job summary We are seeking a collaborative and empathetic Senior
Manager to join the Red Hat IT Training organization. In this role,
you will lead a remote, cross-functional team of IT professionals
in delivering Red Hat's renowned global training and certification
services. We’re seeking a people-first leader with a strong

systems that impact learners around the world. What you will do:
Lead a distributed team of IT professionals, including Software
Engineers and a Manager (and their team) for Training Platforms
Provide coaching, mentorship, and regular performance feedback to
help team members grow and thrive Collaborate closely with
cross-functional stakeholders to shape roadmaps, plan releases,
evaluate and leverage vendor partnerships, and negotiate vendor
contracts Align project goals with team capacity, define clear
requirements, and ensure healthy delivery practices Maintain open,
proactive communication with stakeholders and senior leaders about
business goals, progress, risks, and decision points Guide the
technical direction of the team’s systems, emphasizing
sustainable/automated practices, code quality, and customer
experience Champion knowledge-sharing, documentation, and process
improvement to support long-term success Oversee IT initiatives
such as system upgrades, software implementations, and
infrastructure enhancements Help define and uphold IT policies and
procedures that promote secure, reliable systems Conduct regular
audits and risk assessments to identify and address security
vulnerabilities or issues with data privacy and/or system integrity
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as
GDPR and PII initiatives Stay engaged with new technologies and
practices to keep our systems evolving in step with the industry ?
What you will bring: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science,
Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred
5 years of experience as a software engineer 5 years of experience
as a people manager of a software engineering team 5 years of
experience leading Agile teams, ideally with Jira implementation
experience Experience in growing a team's operational maturity,
promoting a blameless culture, and advocating for best practices in
observability, automation, toil reduction, incident response, and
root cause analysis A track record of managing IT operations,
systems, or teams; experience in training or learner-facing
platforms is a bonus Working knowledge of IT infrastructure,
security standards, and modern software development practices
Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan, prioritize,
and adapt in a dynamic environment Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills, with a commitment to building trust and
alignment both among direct reports and across diverse teams
Relevant technical certifications are a plus The salary range for
this position is $183,180.00 - $311,320.00. Actual offer will be
based on your qualifications. Pay Transparency Red Hat determines
compensation based on several factors including but not limited to
job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external
market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one
component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also
be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions
with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position
may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job
