Job Description:
Red Hat’s OpenShift Observability Platform team is looking for a
Software Engineer to join us in the USA. OpenShift Observability is
a comprehensive set of observability capabilities that provides
deep insights into the performance and health of OpenShift-based
applications and infrastructure across any footprint: the public
cloud, on-prem, and edge. As an Observability Platform Software
Engineer, you will be responsible for setting and achieving
observability objectives aligned to company business goals as well
as leading engineers on the team to resolve highly complex issues
that impact our critical initiatives. If you are someone who wants
to contribute to solving challenging observability technical
issues, this role is for you. What will you do? Contribute to
cross-functional teams to deliver OpenShift Observability related
software solutions that align with business objectives. Provide
technical expertise and guidance on complex observability related
issues. Identify problems that need to be solved, set and achieve
strategic technical objectives to solve those problems. Serve as a
technical expert for major software initiatives and contribute to
the team’s success. Be present in the relevant internal and
upstream technical communities. Proactively leverage AI
technologies to streamline workflows, simplify processes, and
enhance overall efficiency. What will you bring? Proven track
record of enterprise level software development in a global team
environment. Experience with Go is a plus Experience developing
software for Linux and/or container ecosystems like Kubernetes or
Red Hat OpenShift Deep understanding of the observability landscape
[metrics, logs, traces, event, etc] Experience working with cloud
native Observability tools (Prometheus, Thanos, Open Telemetry,
Loki, Tempo, ) Proven ability to innovate and a passion for staying
at the forefront of technology Experience contributing to open
source projects The salary range for this position is $94,550.00 -
$151,170.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications. Pay
Transparency Red Hat determines compensation based on several
factors including but not limited to job location, experience,
applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal
pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s
compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus,
commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations,
the actual salary range for the position may differ based on
location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work
