Job Description:

Campus Enterprises Mission: Campus Enterprises is NC State's division of retail and hospitality organizations. Each department is dedicated to providing service excellence, value and enrichment of the student experience in support of academic success.

Purpose: The primary purpose of this position will be to assist in various aspects of the CBORD (Dining's nutrition and food management database) and purchasing team of NC State Dining, focusing on database management and data entry.

Compensation: Starting wage $10.75/hr (Tier 2) with opportunity for raises based on years of service within Campus Enterprises.

Work Schedule: Flexible schedule; 8-10 hours/week

Location: West Dunn Building, with periodic support that may occur in multiple dining locations around campus

Essential functions and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Operate CBORD program; invoices, ordering, recipe audits and service menus.
• Assist with C-Bord data entry
• Assist with the accuracy of posted menus, and website data
• Data entry of nutrition information
• Assist with food allergy and special dietary restriction concerns on compus
• Assist with food allergy training of employees
• Other duties as assigned to ensure NC State Dining business needs are met. Postiion may be asked to assist in other locations as neccesary. Preferred Qualifications:
  • Must be an undergraduate student to be eligible for PEP funding.
  • Understanding of computer programs and database management
  • Previous experience with the Nutrition and Wellness team and/or NC State Dining preferred
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development, such as participation in Customer Relations and Professionalism Certificate or Leadership Intensive
