Job Description:

Our client is in search of an experienced Senior Systems Administrator to join their organization. The right Senior System Administrator will implement upgrades on the information systems. The Senior Systems Administrator will be responsible for planning and testing the network, providing upgrades which include software and application integration and hardware configuration. They will perform tests and help resolve technical issues. You must be comfortable with scripting or automating certain tasks and processes with the main goal of increasing efficiency.
The ideal Senior Systems Administrator will have 5-10 years of professional administration experience and is comfortable using VMware to support virtualization.
Senior Systems Administrator Duties and Responsibilities

• Integrate new software applications by planning, testing, and implementing upgrades for information systems.
• Manage devices on network through Active Directory/Azure AD
• Manage user access, assist with virtualization, configure hardware by manage switches, routers and firewalls
• Develop and apply best practices by resolving technical issues
• Coordinate with vendors as needed
• Run performance reports Senior Systems Administrator Requirements and Qualifications
  
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in one of the following concentrations:
    • Computer science
    • Computer engineering
    • Information systems
    • or a related field
    • Systems administration experience (5-10 years preferred)
    • Scripting experience and experience with VMware
    • Comfortable working with various operating systems
    • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills Salary & Benefits
      $105,000K-$115,000K
