Technical Systems Analyst
Job Description
Provide front line ticket submission and support for production
service desk. Work with facilitating communication between vendors
and other support personnel to resolve issues. Troubleshoot
technical issues. Assist with identifying, understanding and
planning for organizational and human impacts of planned systems,
and ensure that new technical requirements are properly integrated
with existing processes and skill sets. Update and document
external client issues.
Communicates and builds rapport with team members, stakeholders,
and interface groups using a variety of techniques and
collaboration from initiation to close. Facilitates small to medium
size group meetings for technical design, problem solving, and task
implementation. Resolves minor conflicts/issues and escalates
others as appropriate.
Assists with the creating and reviewing of technical design
documents related to small projects/programs and understands how
the design will be used in the code development process. Assists
with coordinating design phases for small projects/programs,
identifying, tracking and resolving technical issues. Participates
in walkthrough reviews of technical specifications, programs, and
unit test plans.
Assist with performing design, code, unit and assembly tests for
functions of low to low-medium complexity. Works with BSA's to
provide coordination and support of testing. Completes technical
documentation and training material as needed.
Job Summary
Partners across IT and with assigned business line(s) to assess,
research, and analyze business, technical and system needs in order
to resolve business systems issues by recommending technology
solutions that meet sponsor/stakeholder needs. Work on small to
medium development or maintenance projects (multiple functions,
single application at one time). Emphasis is split between
front-line ticket support, collaborating with Business Systems
Analysts, Project Leads and overall IT team to resolve issues and
ensure solutions are viable and consistent. Plays a critical role
in the facilitation of software/system development for the purpose
of collecting data.
